In-house What would you do? Ethics for counselor, social workers and addiction professionals currently approved for KY Board of Alcohol & Drug Counselors, KY LPCC/LPCA and the Ohio Board of Counselors, Social Work and Chemical Dependency Professionals. Also approved for general credit hours for Ky BSW. Note does not meet KY SW Ethics Requirements.
Course will provide overview of ethical standards laws and state board guidelines including information and resources for best practice and business ethics, child and client rights. Consider possible ethical dilemma through scenarios and exercises of potential situations utilizing ethical decision-making model. Provide take-home resources and applications.
Attendees will acquire competency and process of ethical decision-making through practice of group discussion, exercise and potential dilemmas & scenarios through use of code of ethics, standards, ethical decision-making model, laws, regulations and best practices tips. Receiving resources to assist in future decision making.
